Bathtub2Boardroom

Welcome to Aprils London Coworking Assembly breakfast!

Every a month a group of London coworking space operators and enthusiasts meet for breakfast to swap stories and talk about coworking.

We meet in a different space each month, this means we ‘get out of our own space’ and get to connect with our peers on a regular basis.

You’re very welcome to join us!

This month Bathtub2boardroom workspace near Angel is hosting us, and we have four inspiring guests. See how to get to the event on this map here.

Breakfast is from 08:30 am to 10:00 am – everything is here so just show up!

Big thanks to Tajinder and Alex from Bathtub 2 Boardroom for hosting this month!
Also, thank you to Ryan from FreeAgent for buying breakfast every month and supporting our ongoing projects.

What’s happening this month?

Greg Staw co-founder of Onsong will be doing an exercise about music and community.
The word “community” has now been butchered to death by the coworking industry.

Greg is keen to tease out what we want from this word, how it’s meaning occurs for us and the people in our coworking spaces.
So please be ready to share some deep thoughts and sounds about what community means to you.

Onsong work to support well being and community building in business, you can get a better idea of how Greg and George do that in this video below.

Michael Cockburn is co-founder of National Coworking Day is sharing an essential update on the project and how to get involved over the next year.

Last year the National Coworking Day team got EVERY coworking space in Scotland to take part from the cult-like independents to the big shiny corporate ones.

There are millions of people in the UK looking for space to work and have never heard of coworking and how to find a space, National Coworking Day is on a misson to help with that!

Claire Carpenter is the CEO and co-founder of The Coworking Accelerator Network and The Melting Pot Coworking Space Edinburgh, now in its 12th year of operation.

Claire will run a Q&A after sharing some thoughts and stories about the growth of the Melting Pot, the projects connected to it and the expansion to a second and bigger space.

Check out Clare in this video that Justin producer of GCUC UK and Martha made last year at Huckletree West.

Bryony Sims is the Enterprise Growth Executive at The Prince’s Trust.

How you can get more involved…

You are very welcome to join our London Coworking Assembly Facebook Group here.
As a heads up, the only way to get into the group is to answer the three simple questions.
One of them is, “did you answer the last two questions?”
We know this is a pain, but it keeps the integrity and quality of the group at a high level.

If you are already a member of the group this link will take you directly to Aprils event.

Thanks for reading and look out for the other London Coworking Assembly Events in 2019.

You can catch up on last months Inclusion and Diversity event with Tara from Canoe Coworking here and read about Coworking Spain at the end of April here, let us know if you are going!
