The role of AI in a cyber-threatened world
The rising intensity of cybercrime and global conflicts, along with new threats from powerful AI, present urgent questions about how to keep the critical information infrastructure of business and governments safe.
Chief information security officers need to constantly adapt and explore new defence strategies. One approach is to use AI to automate tasks, improve threat detection, and perhaps even to close the cybersecurity skills gap. However, implementing AI is difficult. How can organisations harness the technology while mitigating downsides, such as bias, or a lack of transparency?
By exploring the experiences of security and tech leaders who are pioneering AI integration, this session will provide valuable insights for navigating the wider adoption of AI throughout a company. What can different business units learn from the implementation? How can this be applied to the wider adoption of AI across industries and society?
Discussion topics include:
- How do leaders identify the right AI for the right job?
- To what extent can AI empower humans, freeing them for higher-value work, reshaping the future of the workforce? Or is it a threat to jobs?
- Transparency is crucial to build trust in AI, especially with rising concerns about its misuse. Where are the risks of adoption and how can they be minimised?
